Kelly Gude

Scientist II, Postharvest & Plant Physiology at Mori

Kelly is a scientist of postharvest physiology of fruits and vegetables at Mori.

She has extensive experience in plant phytochemicals and postharvest handling and technology. Kelly desires to address the issue of nutrient depletion and reduce pre- and postharvest losses to increase nutrient-dense food for the growing population.

Kelly holds a BS in Food Science from the University of Arkansas, an MS and Ph.D. in Horticulture from Kansas State University, and a postdoctoral fellow in chemistry at the USDA-ARS.
