Eli Yokley

Eli Yokley is a seasoned political journalist with extensive experience in campaign and political coverage. As a Senior Reporter at Morning Consult since April 2016, Eli leads the company’s campaign and Congress coverage and authors the widely-read Morning Consult Washington briefing, leveraging sources and proprietary polling data to cover significant elections and presidencies. Prior to this role, Eli served as a Political Reporter at The Yokley Company and CQ Roll Call, providing in-depth analysis of political events in Missouri and national contests. Early career contributions include being the Statehouse Correspondent for The Joplin Globe and launching a statewide news website focused on Missouri politics while still in high school. Eli's educational background includes studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia and Missouri Southern State University.
