Alec Burnham

Alec Burnham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alec began their career at Keating Resources as the Director of Research, where they conducted due diligence on investment opportunities in mining, real estate, and agriculture. Alec then moved on to become the Vice President of Business Development at Keating Resources, assuming responsibilities in sales, business development, marketing, operations, and project management.

After their time at Keating Resources, Burnham joined Modular Mining Systems as the Global Corporate Sales Manager. Here, they focused on developing, manufacturing, marketing, and servicing enterprise technology solutions for the Metals and Mining sector. Alec played a key role in establishing the company as a leader in industrial predictive analytics and optimization software solutions.

Burnham later transitioned to Tata Consultancy Services, where they served as the Business Development Director for the Energy, Resources, and Utilities division. In this role, they contributed to the growth and development of the company's business in the energy, resources, and utilities sectors.

Most recently, Burnham joined Morningstar as the Director of Business Development, where they quickly progressed to the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development. Alec then assumed the position of Head of Global Sales and, ultimately, General Manager and Global Head of Sales. In these roles, they were responsible for driving sales and business growth on a global scale.

Throughout their career, Burnham has demonstrated a strong business development acumen and a track record of success in various leadership positions.

Alec Burnham has a diverse education history. In 2015, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business for an Executive Program in Corporate Strategy. In 2009, they obtained a CMI degree from the same institution, specializing in Business. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2003, they pursued their BA in International Relations Foreign Language at the University of Iowa. Additionally, in 2000 and 2001, Alec earned a Business Foreign Language degree from the University of Valencia. Furthermore, Alec has obtained certifications in Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Enterprise and Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn in 2021.
