Hanny Elsayed

Hanny Elsayed, CFA, has extensive experience in sales and business development within the financial services industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales for Morningstar Direct and Mid-Market Enterprise in the Americas since October 2011. Hanny has held various roles at Morningstar, including Vice President of Business Development and manager of Morningstar Direct Sales Specialists in Canada, consistently meeting or exceeding growth targets. In addition to work at Morningstar, Hanny has been a private investor with York Angel Investors, focusing on B2B/SaaS technology companies, and served on the advisory board of Hockeystick. Early career roles include positions at Thomson Reuters and Reuters Financial Software, where Hanny demonstrated a strong ability to drive sales and develop client relationships. Academic qualifications include an M.B.A. in Finance from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University.
