Before joining Morningstar, Kristen worked as the Vice President of Marketing at CaptureX, a medical technology startup, where they had responsibilities in corporate marketing, product development, and business development. Kristen also worked at Medline Industries, Inc., where they held various positions, including Vice President Marketing - Textiles, Director of Marketing-Textiles, Senior Product Manager, and Associate Product Manager. At Medline Industries, they managed product portfolios with annual revenues ranging from $38 million to $500 million and was responsible for sales, marketing, and growth strategies. Overall, Kristen has demonstrated expertise in marketing strategy and product management throughout their career.
Kristen Kanka completed their education at Eastern Illinois University from 2004 to 2008, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Kristen has obtained additional certifications such as Content Marketing Certified and HubSpot Inbound Marketing from HubSpot, SEO Essentials from Moz, and a Pragmatic Institute Certification.
