Sol Sender

Sol Sender has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Sol is currently serving as the Head of Brand Strategy at Morningstar since March 2021. Prior to this, they were the Owner and Principal of Sender LLC from August 2006 until the present. Sol has also worked as a Knowledge Network Subject Matter Expert at Gather since October 2017. Before that, they held the position of Partner at Ruca from February 2018 to March 2021, and at Edwards + Sender from November 2017 to March 2021. Sol has also worked at VSA Partners in various roles, including Partner, Associate Partner, and Strategist, from October 2008 to September 2017. Sol's experience also includes working at IBM as a Director of Digital Brand Experience and Director of Design Lab from September 2010 to December 2013. Additionally, they have served as Adjunct Faculty at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago from August 1999 to September 2008. Prior to that, Sol held multiple roles at Designkitchen, including President, Principal of Brand Strategy, and Designer/Senior Designer, from June 1999 to May 2006.

Sol Sender attended San Francisco University High School from 1984 to 1988. Sol then obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Religion and Studio Art from Bowdoin College between 1988 and 1992. Finally, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1996 to 1999.
