Kathy Bromage is the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at The Hartford. Kathy began their career at The Hartford Financial Group in April 2004 as the SVP of eBusiness. In July 2012, they were promoted to SVP Strategy and Marketing of Small Commercial and SVP Brand Marketing for The Hartford. In their current role, they are responsible for strategic planning, marketing, and digital strategy for the company's Small Commercial business line. Kathy also has oversight responsibility for Brand Marketing, Advertising, Social Media Enablement, and User and Creative Design for The Hartford.

Prior to joining The Hartford, Kathy Bromage was the VP of eCommerce at Concentrex, Inc. (formerly MECA Software) from July 1996 to December 2001. From June 1995 to July 1996, they served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Fleet Financial Group/Shawmut National. Kathy began their career at Shawmut National Corporation in 1990 as an SVP and served in that role until 1995.

After receiving their BBA in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kathy Bromage worked for a time in public accounting. Kathy then returned to school to earn their MBA from Hingham High School in Hingham, Mass.

They work with Stephanie Bush - EVP Small Commercial & Personal Lines, Doug Elliot - President, and John Kinney - Chief Claims Officer. Kathy Bromage reports to Christopher Swift, Chairman & CEO.
