Senior Medical Scientific Liaison at MorphoSys

Anne Sherwood has extensive work experience in the medical and scientific field. Anne is currently serving as a Senior Medical Scientific Liaison at MorphoSys since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Scientific Liaison from December 2019 to July 2023.

Before joining MorphoSys, Anne worked at The Binding Site from 2008 to 2019, where they held the position of Technical Director / Director of Scientific Affairs. Their responsibilities included providing scientific support to regional sales teams for multiple myeloma diagnostics and special protein assays in the western US and western Canada.

From 2004 to 2008, Anne worked as a Senior Scientist at PriTest Inc, where they co-invented and optimized screening tests for TB infection in humans and animals. Prior to that, they were a Senior Scientist at Ameritek in 2003, where they designed and engineered cloning vectors for the expression of recombinant proteins.

Anne's earlier experience includes working as a Consulting Senior Scientist at InBios International, Inc. from 2001 to 2003, where they conceived and developed innovative products for molecular biology research. Anne also worked as an Assistant Member at Northwest Hospital & Medical Center from 1996 to 2001, where they cloned and patented a gene for a key enzyme in producing the GM1 tumor marker.

Anne Sherwood has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Kenyon College. Anne then pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbiology, with a focus on General Microbiology, from the University of Arkansas. Following their master's degree, they attended Purdue University, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Virology and Molecular Biology. Anne's educational journey culminated with their Post-Doctoral Research in Biochemistry at the University of Washington.
