Eneko Pina Fernández has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Eneko started their career as a Master Thesis Student at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology, where they focused on the biochemical detection of UPS-activity. Eneko then continued as a PhD Student at the same institute, investigating the role of presynaptic scaffold proteins in neurotransmitter release and synaptic plasticity. After completing their PhD, they worked as a Research Assistant at the institute's genotyping unit, where they developed new techniques for more efficient animal genotyping.

In 2019, Eneko joined the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Eneko'sresponsibilities included conducting research and contributing to the university's scientific activities.

In 2020, Eneko transitioned into the field of Regulatory Affairs and joined Parexel as a Regulatory Affairs Associate. Eneko was involved in coordinating multinational submissions in clinical trials and managed regulatory affairs projects for multiple countries. Eneko then advanced to the role of Senior Regulatory Affairs Associate, where they served as a regulatory lead and coordinated submissions for Spain, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

In 2021, Eneko joined PRA Health Sciences as a Senior Global Regulatory Affairs Specialist. In this role, they led and supported teams in local regulatory affairs and submissions worldwide. Eneko also collaborated with the regulatory intelligence team, providing support to other regulatory colleagues.

Currently, Eneko holds the position of Manager Regulatory Affairs at MorphoSys.

Eneko Pina Fernández's education history showcases a progressive academic journey in the field of biology and neuroscience. Starting in 2005, they attended the University of Navarra, completing a Licentiate degree in Biochemistry which they concluded in 2011. During this period, they also pursued another Licentiate degree in Biology, General, indicating their broad interest in the biological sciences. Moving forward, between 2011 and 2014, Eneko pursued a Master's degree in Neuroscience at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, further specializing in the field. To advance their knowledge and expertise, they then enrolled in the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg in 2016. Over the course of five years, they successfully completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree, focusing on Biology and Neurosciences.
