Samuel White

Samuel White has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Samuel currently holds the position of Chief of Staff and VP, Head of Strategic Planning & Commercial Alliance Management at MorphoSys since September 2021. Prior to this role, from May 2020 to September 2021, they served as the Senior Director, Head of Commercial Alliance Management, Global BD&L & AM at the same company.

Before joining MorphoSys, Samuel worked at Ascenion GmbH as a Spinnovator Lead from July 2016 to July 2018. Samuel also has experience at The Centre for Drug Research & Development (CDRD) where they held various positions including Associate Director, Project Search & Evaluation/Partnerships from March 2015 to June 2016.

In addition, Samuel has gained experience in the private equity sector as a Cardiovascular Sciences Consultant and Intern at H2O Venture Partners (Private Equity) LLP from September 2010 to October 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Locum Pharmacist at S White Locum Services from July 2005 to February 2010.

Samuel began their career as a Pre-Registration Pharmacist at Lloyds Pharmacy from August 2004 to July 2005. Samuel also had a research internship as a Product Development Intern at AstraZeneca from July 2003 to September 2003.

Samuel has a strong educational background, having been a Research Student at King's College London in July 2002. Samuel White completed their primary and secondary education at Marlwood Secondary School from 1993 to 2000. Samuel then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Master of Pharmacy at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2000 to 2004, where they achieved a First Class Honors degree. Continuing their education, Samuel obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they completed from 2005 to 2009.
