Sarah-Katharina Kays

Sarah-Katharina Kays has extensive work experience in the field of clinical science and research. Sarah-Katharina is currently working as a Senior Clinical Scientist at MorphoSys since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at CureVac from 2016 to 2022, where they held various roles including Senior Clinical Scientist, Clinical Scientist, and Project Coordinator Clinical Science.

During their time at CureVac, Sarah-Katharina was responsible for planning and executing clinical immunomonitoring/biomarker programs, analyzing clinical data for regulatory documents and publications, and preparing presentations for conferences and meetings. Sarah-Katharina also provided support in the development of regulatory documents.

Before joining CureVac, Sarah-Katharina worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Research Group of Dr. Veronika von Messling at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they were a PHD Student at the same research group from 2011 to 2015.

Sarah-Katharina began their career as a Master student at the Research Group of Dr. Sara Lustigman at the New York Blood Center from 2009 to 2010.

Sarah-Katharina Kays has an impressive education history in the field of Biology. Sarah-Katharina obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the Technical University of Munich, where they specialized in general Biology. Sarah-Katharina'sstudies at the Technical University of Munich took place between 2005 and 2010. Following their master's degree, they pursued further academic achievements at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. There, Sarah-Katharina Kays completed their Dr. rer. nat. (Doctor rerum naturalium) degree in Biology, which was achieved by the year 2015.
