Kathy Tietje

Kathy Tietje is an experienced professional in the fields of scientific operations and product development, currently serving as the Chief Program Officer and Vice President of Scientific Operations at Morris Animal Foundation since May 2019. Previously, Kathy held the position of Senior Director for the Golden Retriever Lifetime Study and also contributed as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Denver. Prior roles include diagnostic product development at ArcherDX, Inc. and NanoString Technologies, where Kathy focused on companion diagnostics for cancer therapies and quality-compliant product development. Kathy's career also encompasses significant experience at PATH, leading international diagnostic product efforts, and serving as a Research Scientist/Manager at the University of Washington, overseeing cancer vaccine clinical testing. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology and a Master of Business Administration in New Product Commercialization from the University of Washington, Kathy combines scientific expertise with business acumen.
