Jennifer Monico

Jennifer Monico is a skilled horticulturist with extensive experience in various roles within the field of horticulture. Currently serving as a horticulturist at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania since May 2021, Jennifer previously held the position of seasonal horticulturist at Chanticleer Garden from June 2018 to May 2021 and was a horticulture intern at Morris Arboretum from June 2017 to May 2018. Prior to these roles, Jennifer worked as a clerk at Penn Foundation, where responsibilities included verifying insurance cards and billing claims. Jennifer also gained research experience as a biochemistry intern at the Center for Plant Lipid Research and as an intern at the Clean Water Institute, focusing on data collection and analysis for an Honors Thesis. Jennifer Monico earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a focus on Ecology from Lycoming College in 2016 and holds a diploma from Souderton Area High School.
