Johanna Plummer

Johanna Plummer is a skilled Garden Educator at the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania since 2022. Previously, Johanna served as the Associate Director of Special Projects at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts and as the Curator of Education and Engagement at the Institute for Contemporary Art from 2015 to 2020. Johanna's earlier experience includes positions such as the Georgette Auerbach Koopman Director of Education at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and the Curator of Education at the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Mindful Outdoor Experience Guide from the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from La Salle University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Museum Education from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.
