Thomas Bartolozzi is an experienced, motivated and results-driven real estate lawyer with more than 25 years’ experience. He has served as lead counsel and negotiated and documented copious acquisition, sales, leasing, lending, franchising and business transactions involving virtually every type of buyer, seller, lender, originator, borrower, developer, owner, operator, asset, property, structure and collateral. Tom’s educational and professional experiences, along with his personal business experience, bring unique legal and business insight, problem-solving skills and perspective to any transaction, helping both clients and their business partners achieve their goals and generate revenue quickly.

Tom focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including the formation, acquisition, sale, leasing, marketing and/or regulatory compliance of commercial, multifamily, retail, industrial, management companies, hotel and resort properties. He often represents and advises public and private REIT’s on their formation and compliance issues, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, and manages lending, finance and workout transactions on behalf of borrowers and lenders, including representation of originators and sellers of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loan transactions. His experience also includes private offerings of debt and equities; securitizations, receivable sale and hypothecation transactions; franchise creation, operation and compliance with applicable federal and state registration and disclosure requirements; and all aspects of community association law on behalf of associations and developers.

Tom is a frequent speaker on topics related to real estate acquisition and development, legal structure and organization of entities, and real estate lending and finance. Prior to joining MMM, he was a partner at Taylor English, where he chaired the leisure & hospitality group.
