Elizabeth Lawhon

Elizabeth Lawhon is a Transportation Engineer at Jacobs since April 2024, following experience as a Civil Designer II at Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. where responsibilities included the execution of design aspects for residential land development projects. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked as a Project Engineer at Timmons Group, assisting in the design of construction documents for large-scale projects. Earlier experience includes a survey internship at the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a tenure as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech's Applied Environmental Microbiology Lab, focusing on sampling and analyzing wastewater treatment-related viruses. Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Land Development from Virginia Tech College of Engineering, having completed the degree in 2022.
