Keith Dustin has extensive experience in the transportation industry. Keith is currently working as the Vice President of Transportation at Morrison Hershfield, a role they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Operations for Transportation Ontario East at the same company from October 2015 to January 2021. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing multiple transportation departments, resource allocation, budgeting, performance tracking, mentoring, business development, and client satisfaction. Keith also held the position of Transportation Design Manager at Morrison Hershfield from June 2010 to September 2015, where they managed the Transportation Design Department in Ottawa and worked as a Senior Project Manager on various transportation projects.
Before joining Morrison Hershfield, Keith worked as a Senior Project Manager at HDR from 2007 to 2010. Keith also served as a Senior Project Engineer at the Ministry of Transportation from 2000 to 2007. Prior to that, they worked in sales and product management at Sport Dinaco, where they were responsible for Madshus Skis. Keith began their career as a Project Engineer/Project Manager at Morrison Hershfield from 1994 to 1998, and prior to that, they worked as a Transportation Design Engineer at CC Parker Consultants from 1991 to 1994. Keith also held the position of Project Engineer at McCormick Rankin Corporation from 1990 to 1991 and started their engineering career as an Engineer in Training at Kresin engineering from 1988 to 1990.
Keith Dustin attended the University of Vermont from 1981 to 1983, where they studied Civil Engineering. Keith then transferred to the University of Ottawa and completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from 1983 to 1987. In terms of additional certifications, Keith obtained a Value Engineering Mod 1 certification in April 2001.
