Andrew Galvao

Associate at Morrison Mahoney

Andrew is an associate in the Fall River office of Morrison Mahoney. He concentrates his practice in the area of workers’ compensation and represents self-insurers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout all stages of litigation at the Department of Industrial Accidents.

Client engagement is central to successful defense litigation, and Andrew is committed to maintaining a high level of communication. He takes the time to truly involve the client and incorporate their goals, concerns, values, and feedback. Andrew manages the relationship transparently so that his clients can see how their interests are being served at every stage of the litigation process.

While in law school, Andrew worked as a law clerk in the State & Local Tax Group of KPMG US LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. Andrew also served several roles in student organizations including the Business Law Society and Mock Trial Team competing against several regional law schools where he honed his trial practice and oral argument skills.

Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Andrew worked as a probation officer for the Massachusetts Probation Department where he regularly appeared on behalf of the Commonwealth in the District and Superior Courts in criminal and administrative proceedings against defendants serving probation sentences. Prior to his service with the Probation Department, Andrew spent several years in law enforcement as a police officer and criminal investigator.
