Shelby M. Downes

Shelby is an associate in the Hartford office of Morrison Mahoney. She concentrates her practice in professional liability and tort and liability defense and represents insurance companies, agents, insureds and self-insured entities, and professionals in various claims of negligence, malpractice, and product liability.

Prior to joining Morrison Mahoney, Shelby worked for the Connecticut Judicial Branch as an Assistant Clerk.

While in law school Shelby served as an Executive Editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law and President of the UCONN Law Energy and Environmental Law Society.
