As a structural engineer, Michael Brennan enjoys facing a complicated problem, finding a solution, and ultimately seeing that solution implemented. And with his experience with dams, spillways, and hydroelectric powerhouses, he often gets to come up with complex solutions.
However, his passion for engineering doesn’t stop at work; he volunteered with engineers without borders for several years. On those trips, he has helped to design and structurally retrofit existing unreinforced masonry buildings to withstand seismic demands. He is also committed to giving back to his community of Helena, and each year volunteers for the Spirit of Service project in town.
