Geoffrey Kay

Geoffrey Kay is an experienced Senior Structural Designer with a strong background in submarine engineering, particularly in the Dreadnought (Hull & Outfitting) project at Morson Projects since February 2022. Prior to this role, Geoffrey was available for new projects from November 2020 to January 2022 and held positions such as Lead Structural Designer at PD&MS Group, focusing on offshore surveys in the Caspian Sea for BP, and Senior Structural Design Supervisor at Mustang HDP, overseeing multiple greenfield and brownfield projects. Early career roles included leadership in structural design for significant projects such as the Hebron and BP Clair Ridge drilling facilities and senior positions at various companies, including Single Buoy Moorings and KCA Deutag, where expertise in PDMS and AutoCAD was demonstrated. Geoffrey holds a Part III Tech Certificate in Structural Engineering from Stockport Technical College, acquired between 1973 and 1978.
