Richard Workman

Richard Workman is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in design and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Designer at Morson Projects since July 2022, Richard previously held the position of Design Engineer at Absolute Engineering from January 2018 to August 2022. Prior roles include Mechanical Designer and Production Engineer at James H. Heal & Co Ltd, where Richard focused on product design for cost-effective manufacturing, and positions in educational institutions as a Design and IT Teacher and Resistant Materials Teacher. Earlier experience includes designing military aircraft simulators at EDM Ltd and project engineering at LT Switchgear Ltd, where Richard contributed to new product development. Richard began a professional career with an apprenticeship at Cunnington and Cooper Ltd, acquiring skills in fitting, turning, and milling. Richard holds an MSc in Project Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from The University of Salford.
