Matt Jones

Matt Jones is an experienced professional who currently holds the position of Associate Vice President of Government Housing Finance at Mortgage Bankers Association. Prior to this role, Matt was the Founder and CEO of Aegis Title Partners and a Senior Advisor - Capital Markets at Amerifirst Home Mortgage. With a background in law, Matt has served as Senior Counsel in various capacities in the United States Senate Committee on Finance and the United States Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. Matt's diverse experience also includes roles in residential policy staff and various positions at Amerifirst Home Mortgage. Matt holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from the University of Michigan.
