Michael William Briggs

Michael William Briggs is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at the Mortgage Bankers Association since June 2020, overseeing legal affairs and leading a dedicated team in human resources and inclusion initiatives. Prior to this role, Briggs worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from June 2008 to June 2020 as Assistant General Counsel in the Consumer Section, managing a team focused on consumer issues and strategic planning.
