Kristin L. Scott

Kristin L. Scott serves as the Senior Director of Principal and Major Gifts at The Morton Arboretum since April 2025, following a role as Senior Director of Strategic & Planned Giving at the Greater Chicago Food Depository from May 2022 to April 2025, where oversight of a team focused on enhancing individual and foundation support through philanthropy was provided. Prior experience includes key development positions at Be The Match and the University of Minnesota Foundation, where significant fundraising achievements were accomplished, including the creation of a Leadership Annual Giving program and substantial increases in donor engagement. Kristin also has a background in athletics development at both the University of Missouri and Illinois State University, complemented by early experience at Wells Fargo Financial. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Science in Athletics Administration from Illinois State University.
