Samantha Gutheim serves as the Head Coach for Girls Flag Football at J S Morton HSD 201 since August 2022, while also teaching as a High School Social Studies Teacher at Morton High School District 201 since August 2021, where Samantha leads in United States History and Civics education for Juniors and Seniors and has founded a Weightlifting Club with over 100 members. Previously, Samantha held various roles within Glenbrook High School District 225, including Assistant Softball Coach, Interact Club Sponsor, and Student Teacher, where responsibilities encompassed teaching AP Psychology and United States History, fostering service learning, and managing volunteer events. Additional experience includes serving as a Long Term Substitute Teacher, Food Server at Rosebud Restaurant Group, and Lead Live-In Residential Counselor at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Illinois. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in History Social Science Education from North Park University and Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Illinois State University and Uppsala University.
