Richard Dohmen

Scientist at Mosa Meat

Richard Dohmen has a range of work experience in various scientific and research roles. Richard is currently working as a Scientist at Mosa Meat since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked at the Hair Science Institute as a Scientific Laboratory Researcher from September 2015 to February 2019. In this role, they established and managed a research facility, developed research protocols, and conducted analysis on human hair follicle cells.

Before that, Richard worked as a Specieel Analist at azM / Maastricht UMC+ from May 2015 to February 2016. Richard also gained experience as a Biotech Associate at PharmaCell in April 2015 and as a Post voorbereider at Post NL from September 2014 to April 2015.

Richard's earlier experience includes voluntary work at Maastricht University from October 2014 to June 2015, where they explored human health and disease. Richard also had multiple research internships during their Biomedical Sciences Master's program at Maastricht University from September 2012 to July 2014.

Lastly, Richard worked as an intern at Maastricht University from August 2011 to July 2012 and as a student at Avans Hogeschool from 2008 to 2012.

Richard Dohmen completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Biology and Applied Medical Laboratory Technology, with a major in Forensic Laboratory Science, from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Richard obtained several certifications in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and microbiology from PharmaCell in April 2015.
