Kathleen Farmer, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Arvinas, since May 2021, where responsibilities include leading in vivo studies for Huntington's Disease and managing animal study programs to support small molecule PROTAC degrader development. Previously, from August 2015 to August 2020, Kathleen served as a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at The University of Texas Medical Branch, focusing on protein aggregation in neurodegenerative disorders, with a dissertation on p53's role in Alzheimer's disease. Kathleen has hands-on experience with clinical research as a Medical Scribe at Carilion Clinic from 2012 to 2014, where efficiency in patient care was enhanced.
