Rob Poyck has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Their most recent position is as an Automation Engineer at Mosa Meat, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked at StreetScooter GmbH as a Software Development Engineer for autonomous logistics from October 2017 to December 2021. At DAF Trucks NV, they served as a Vehicle Layout Design Engineer, where they led integration and packaging projects for future engine technologies and coordinated prototype truck development from March 2015 to September 2017. Rob was previously a Mechanical Design Engineer at VIRO from December 2014 to September 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Star Sensor Data Analysis Software Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space for an internship in 2013, developed software and conducted network installations at Riagg Rijnmond and DANS in 2011, and worked as a Private Tutor for mathematics and physics at StudentsPlus Bijlessen from February 2011 to June 2011. Before that, they were a Software Developer and Advisor at Dura Vermeer from May 2008 to February 2009, where they developed a cost-benefit analysis program for groundwater energy storage systems. Prior to their professional career, they worked in various roles alongside their studies from July 2001 to May 2008.

Rob Poyck received their education from various institutions. Rob started their educational journey in 2001 at Bisschop Bekkers College Eindhoven, where they earned a VWO degree in Physics and Engineering in 2007.

After completing their bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2012, Rob pursued further education. Rob obtained a Minor in Ocean Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2010-2011. Additionally, they completed an Athens course on Industrial uses of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2012.

Rob returned to Delft University of Technology to pursue a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering, which they completed in 2014. In 2017-2018, they attended Udacity, where they received a Nanodegree in Self-Driving Car Engineering.

Furthermore, in 2006, Rob obtained the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (C1) from Bisschop Bekkers College Eindhoven.
