Brandon Chan

Brandon Chan serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Mosaic Data Science since July 2022, previously holding the position of Data Scientist. At Spectra Plasmonics since October 2018, Brandon works as a Data Science Consultant, focusing on the development of classification models and APIs for drug classification using raman spectrometer data. From November 2019 to July 2022, Brandon was a Data Scientist at BC Cancer, where involvement in decision analytics models for genome-guided treatments and the application of NLP for data extraction was prominent. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at CONDUIT Lab, managing data projects and developing deep learning models, and at the Human Mobility Research Center, where predictive models and software for surgical outcomes were developed. Brandon holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Computing Honours in Biomedical Computing, both from Queen's University.
