Aleksey Baranovskiy

Aleksey Baranovskiy is an experienced data engineering professional with a strong background in team and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of Data Engineering at Mosaic Group since February 2022, Aleksey oversees both data engineering and software engineering teams, guiding them through full development lifecycles using agile methodologies. Prior to this, Aleksey held the position of Team Lead in Data Engineering, managing a dedicated team and leading various projects. Aleksey's experience includes a role as Senior Data Engineer at Apalon, where data ingestion processes and system architecture were designed and enhanced. Additionally, Aleksey worked at IBM as a Lead Technical Specialist, providing L2 support and developing SQL solutions. Early career roles include positions at IBA Group as Level 2 Support and SQL Developer. Aleksey holds a degree from Belarusian State University, earned between 2004 and 2009.
