Shavonne Brathwaite, Ed.D has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Program Director at Brian's House, where they managed financial aspects, staff training, and daily activities for individuals at residential sites. From 2007 to 2016, they served as a Sr. Program Manager at Catholic Charities Diocese of Wilmington, overseeing program operations. In 2013, they became an Adjunct Professor at Wilmington University, where they developed syllabus materials and facilitated class instruction. Shavonne also served as a Board member at Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council, Inc. in 2013. Since 2016, they have been working at Mosaic, initially as an Executive Director, responsible for monitoring overall agency operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing the agency budget. Currently, they serve as the State Director of Operations at Mosaic.

Shavonne Brathwaite, Ed.D, received their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University in 2015. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Public Administration from Strayer University in 2010. Shavonne Brathwaite also holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Temple University, which they completed in 2001. Their education journey started with a high school diploma from Conestoga HS, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. Additionally, they obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021.
