Vivek Dharni, CFA, CAIA, MBA, currently serves as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Africa at Mota-Engil and as a Non-Executive Director at Kobo Resources Inc. With extensive experience in structured and project finance, Vivek held key roles at Rio Tinto, including Director of Structured & Project Finance and Director of Business Development and Mergers & Acquisitions for Africa. Prior positions also include Director at CPCS, Vice President of Investments at Griha Pte. Limited, and Region Head for HDFC Limited in the Middle East. Vivek possesses a strong academic background with an MBA from IE Business School and additional degrees in finance and commerce from other esteemed institutions.
