Amanda Felix

Amanda Felix is an experienced aquarium biologist currently serving as Aquarium Biologist III at Mote Marine Laboratory, where responsibilities include overseeing the Aquarium Conservation Lab and managing the Fish and Invert Husbandry Department's intern program. Amanda has progressed through various roles at Mote since 2014, including managing the Seahorse Conservation Laboratory and initiating a fish breeding program. Prior experience includes internships at the John G. Shedd Aquarium and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, as well as assistant roles in biology education. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Grinnell College.
