Aqilah M.

Aqilah M. is an experienced professional in the field of linguistics and localization, currently serving as a Localization/Translation Account Manager at Mother Tongue since June 2021. Previously, Aqilah held the position of Linguist (Project Coordinator) at IMDA from January 2019 to June 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing the National Speech Corpus project, managing extensive speech data collection, and developing phonetic transcription rules. Prior roles include Project Officer at Nanyang Technological University, Special Events Intern at HRM Asia, Teacher at The Writer's Place, and Editor for Epiphany, NTU English and Drama Society. Aqilah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Multilingual Studies from Nanyang Technological University and has pursued additional studies at Newcastle University.
