Steffen Hartleib has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2002, they worked at BMG Entertainment as a Financial Analyst and completed in-depth financial and marketing analyses. In 2004, they joined SONY BMG Music Entertainment as the Director of TV Marketing and Product Manager, driving DRTV campaigns and overseeing media buys. From 2007 to 2008, they served as the Director of Marketing at Arcade Creative Group. In 2008, they joined Sony Music Entertainment as the Global Head of Customer Service and CX - E-Commerce, leading customer service teams and implementing a cloud-based ticket system. Steffen also held the role of Director of New Products and Services, pioneering new music formats and managing launches. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Sony DADC as the Senior Director of eCommerce, overseeing various aspects of online stores. In 2016, they served as the Interim President and Data & Product Lead at MyPlay Direct, Inc., leading the team through a sale process. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Weight Watchers as a Product Manager, focusing on data engineering and data-driven products. From 2019 to 2020, they joined WeWork as a Senior Product Manager, specializing in data and analytics. In 2020, they moved to Gopuff as a Senior Product Manager, where they later became a Principal Product Manager. Currently, they are working at Mothership as a Principal Product Manager.
Steffen Hartleib holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Marketing from Concordia University. Steffen also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Guitar and Composition from Berklee College of Music. Furthermore, they have an Abitur degree from Schoenborn Gymnasium, where they studied English and Biology. Steffen also has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Southern Culture/American Studies from the University of Mississippi. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including ones in data science, computer science, and business analytics from institutions such as MITx on edX, edX, and Coursera.
