Yao Xiao

Yao Xiao is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in developing client-facing products and features across multiple platforms. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Motif Analytics since June 2022, Yao previously worked at Waymo on the Simulation Team and at Google on the YouTube platform. Yao's experience includes significant contributions to Medallia as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where expertise in technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Node.js was applied. Yao also held roles as a JavaScript Developer Intern at Inkling and as a Software Developer at Careerify, focusing on full stack development and Web API creation. Yao holds a Bachelor of Computing and Financial Management degree from the University of Waterloo.
