Alan Cawley, MBA, has extensive experience in sales and leadership roles. Alan is currently the National Sales Director at Motif Medical, where they lead and motivates a growing sales organization and establishes sales strategies for various channels. Prior to this, they were the Sales Excellence Director at Aeroflow Healthcare, where they developed and educated sales enablement processes and worked with business development leadership.
From 2010 to 2022, Alan worked at Medela in various roles, including Director of Sales Excellence, Sales Director - Business Development, Director of Sales - Healthcare Division, and National Sales Manager - Healthcare Division. In these positions, they were responsible for driving business growth, managing sales teams, and developing sales and business plans.
Alan also has experience as a Board of Directors Member at Neil Johnson Consulting, where they provided consultation services and helped clients identify gaps and opportunities. Earlier in their career, they held sales roles at MAST Biosurgery and Cytori (previously MacroPore Biosurgery), where they developed market penetration and established relationships in the biologics market.
Before entering the private sector, Alan served as a Captain in the United States Army.
Alan Cawley, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2018, with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University, which they completed between 1995 and 1998. Alan's education journey began at Woodstock High School, where they earned their Diploma in General Studies between 1989 and 1993.
