Kathleen Casey has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Kathleen began their career as a Sales Associate at The M Den from May 2015 to April 2017. Kathleen then worked as a Campus E-Advisor at the Center for Global and Intercultural Success from July 2014 to June 2017, where they provided support and advice to prospective participants of the University of Michigan study-abroad program.

Casey then moved on to become a Student at the University of Michigan from August 2013 to May 2017. During this time, they also served as a Majors and Minors Council Member from January 2016 to March 2017.

After graduating, Casey joined Teach For America in April 2016 as an Incoming Corps Member and later became a Corps Member in May 2017, serving until August 2019. During this time, they worked as an 8th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from August 2017 to July 2020.

Casey then pursued higher education, earning a Master's of Teaching (MAT) with a Secondary Education focus from Relay Graduate School of Education from June 2017 to September 2019. Kathleen also participated in continuing education at Harvard University Graduate School of Education from April 2018 to August 2018.

In 2020, Casey began their Master's of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies, specializing in U.S. Education Policy. Kathleen completed the program in June 2022.

In 2021, Casey worked as a Senior Research Intern at Guild Education from May 2021 to August 2021, where they conducted qualitative research and literature reviews related to community engagement in higher education.

Currently, Casey is employed at Motimatic, where they started in 2022. Kathleen began as an Operations Manager & Research Lead from June 2022 to January 2023 and was then promoted to the role of Business Insights & Strategy Associate / Analyst (Lead) in January 2023. In their current role, they are responsible for conducting in-house research, market insights, education policy analysis, budget forecasting, and providing sales enablement tools and resources to Higher Education Institutions.

Kathleen Casey's education history is as follows:

From 2009 to 2013, they attended Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton, where they completed their high school education.

In 2013, they went on to the University of Michigan and pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature & Criminal Justice Studies. Kathleen completed their undergraduate studies in 2017.

During their time at the University of Michigan, they obtained a certificate in Italian Studies from the Center for Global and Intercultural Study (CGIS), specializing in Italian Language and Literature.

Following their undergraduate studies, Kathleen pursued a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at the Relay Graduate School of Education from 2017 to 2019.

In 2018, they also obtained a certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching.

From 2020 to 2022, Kathleen attended Northwestern University, where they pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy & Administration.

Additionally, Kathleen has obtained several certifications, including Teaching Poetry from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education in 2018, Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Michigan in 2017, edTPA from the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) in 2019, and an Educational Certificate: K-12 (Ed:) from the NYC Department of Education in 2017.
