Prasad Krishnaraj

Prasad Krishnaraj has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Prasad began their career as a Management Trainee at Unilever in 2004. Prasad then moved on to John Keells Holdings PLC, where they served as an Assistant Manager in New Business Development and Group Initiatives, focusing on Greenfield investments, M&A, and cost optimization initiatives. Prasad also handled tender evaluations and commercial feasibility assessments for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Following this, Prasad joined Calix Limited as a Financial Analyst and Management Accountant, specializing in mineral processing and carbon capture technology. Prasad then transitioned to Woolworths Group, where they had multiple roles. As a Commercial Advisory Manager in Corporate Finance, they provided business partnering and conducted strategic reviews and financial due diligence. Later, as a Senior Commercial Lead in the Portfolio Group and New Businesses, they oversaw corporate development activities and strategic initiatives, including managing demergers and exploring new business and partnership opportunities.

After their time at Woolworths Group, Prasad joined Evergreen Garden Care as Senior Commercial Manager for Asia Pacific, focusing on strategy planning, analysis, and commercial finance. Prasad then worked at Cushman & Wakefield as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for ANZ.

Currently, Prasad is the Head of Commercial Finance for Sales & Operations at Motion Asia Pacific.

Prasad Krishnaraj is currently pursuing an MBA degree from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, starting in 2021. Prior to this, they obtained a CPA certification in Accounting and Finance from the CPA Australia Program in 2014. In 2011, Prasad completed the Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) program from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. In 2007, they successfully completed the Professional Examination in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Prasad holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Business, which they obtained from The Manchester Metropolitan University between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, Prasad obtained certification in the Angel Investors Program from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in March 2022. Prasad is also associated with the CFA Institute, although specific details about their degree or field of study in this institution are not provided.
