Sudha Ambalawarner

Sudha Ambalawarner has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. In 2004, they started their career at Bayer as a Senior Management Accountant, where they were responsible for preparing and analyzing financial and management reports. Sudha later served as a Plant Management Accountant, playing a key role in managing a project on site closure and capacity transfer.

In 2007, Sudha joined Siemens Healthcare as a Commercial Manager, where they handled financial control, accounting, global and local reporting, and risk management and compliance. Sudha continued their employment at Siemens Healthcare from Bayer Australia.

From 2008 to 2012, Sudha worked at PMP Limited as a Commercial Manager, focusing on business strategies and financial performance.

In 2012, they joined Life Technologies as a Senior Commercial & Pricing Analyst, responsible for analyzing and pricing products in the Australasia region.

Sudha then moved to Avery Dennison in 2013, taking on the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Their most recent position, started in 2014, is at Motion Asia Pacific as a Business Controller. In this role, Sudha is a finance controller and business partner for the Hardy Spicer Division. Sudha has been instrumental in growing the business both organically and through acquisitions, overseeing due diligence and implementation processes. Sudha also successfully relocated branches and transitioned the division's financial functions to centralized financial shared services.

Sudha Ambalawarner has a diverse education history in the field of accounting and finance. Sudha completed their ACMA degree in Costing & Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1997. Sudha then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 1994 to 1998. Sudha continued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university from 2001 to 2004. Finally, they completed their CPA degree in Accounting and Finance from CPA Australia from 2005 to 2009.
