Their most recent position, started in 2014, is at Motion Asia Pacific as a Business Controller. In this role, Sudha is a finance controller and business partner for the Hardy Spicer Division. Sudha has been instrumental in growing the business both organically and through acquisitions, overseeing due diligence and implementation processes. Sudha also successfully relocated branches and transitioned the division's financial functions to centralized financial shared services.
Sudha Ambalawarner has a diverse education history in the field of accounting and finance. Sudha completed their ACMA degree in Costing & Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1997. Sudha then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 1994 to 1998. Sudha continued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university from 2001 to 2004. Finally, they completed their CPA degree in Accounting and Finance from CPA Australia from 2005 to 2009.
