Sue Gilpin has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sue began their career at STAPLES Canada as a Manager in Compensation Services, where they worked from 2003 to 2005. Sue then moved to LoyaltyOne as a Manager in Compensation & Technology for a brief period before returning to STAPLES Canada as a Corporate HR Manager from 2006 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2018, Sue worked at Golf Town as an HR Director, responsible for leading the People and Culture team and driving initiatives related to culture, engagement, and the employee experience.

Since 2018, Sue has been the Chief Executive Officer at Motion, a national network specializing in providing mobility and home accessibility equipment. Sue has successfully expanded the company's reach and service coverage, growing it to over 600 employees across multiple locations.

Throughout their career, Sue has demonstrated their expertise in strategic business growth, employee development, cultural health, and celebrating diversity and inclusion. Sue has also excelled in areas such as employee relations, conflict resolution, and implementing associate relations policies and communications.

Sue Gilpin attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management. In 2015, they obtained certifications in Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association. Sue also has certifications in Certified Benefits Professional® (CBP) and Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®) from WorldatWork.
