Balajee Kannan

Balajee Kannan has a diverse work experience in various companies. Balajee recently worked at Motional as the Vice President of Autonomy and previously as the Vice President of Technical Programs. Before that, they were at Argo AI, where they held various roles including Senior Staff TPM, Lead Technical Program Manager, and Staff TPM. Balajee also worked at Amazon as a Principal Technical Program Manager in the Robotics division, and at GE Global Research as a Senior Scientist in Robotics. Prior to that, they worked at Carnegie Mellon University as a Project Scientist and Research Engineer. Balajee began their career as an Intern at Evolution Robotics and as a System Administrator at the Office of Information Technology.

Balajee Kannan holds a PhD in Robotics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the University of Madras from 1996 to 2000, earning a B.E degree.
