Rishabh Biyani

Rishabh Biyani is a seasoned engineer with significant experience in perception and autonomous systems, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Motional since September 2020. Prior to this role, Rishabh was an Autonomous Driving R&D Engineer at Aptiv from June 2018 to September 2020 and contributed as a Research Assistant at the Medical Robotics Equipment Lab, where Rishabh completed an independent study on gumline detection using Kuka iiwa arms. Rishabh also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland and gained hands-on experience in robotics through internships and projects, including a 3DOF camera-guided needle insertion robot and a mathematical model for engine friction optimization. Rishabh holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
