Ariel Amieva

Translation Engineer at MotionPoint

Ariel Amieva has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career in 2006 as a freelance interpreter, where they served as a member of the Accreditation Committee for the NOAL summit and the 19th Habana International Fair. In 2007, they worked as an interpreter for a conference on sociology and human development. In 2008, they served as a personal interpreter for Thomas Kirkpatrick, a Nobel Prize winner, and as the chief interpreter for the London Royal Ballet during their visit to Havana.

In 2009, Ariel joined Island Film Cuba as a production manager. They worked on a commercial shoot for French designer Vanesa Bruno and served as an interpreter and production assistant. They remained with the company until 2014.

From 2008 to 2012, Ariel also worked as a professor at the University of Havana.

In 2016, Ariel joined MotionPoint as a translation manager. They held this position until February 2021, when they transitioned to the role of a translation engineer.

Ariel Amieva attended the University of Havana from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
