Paula Eskola

Paula Eskola is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental technology and sustainability. Currently serving as a Senior Expert at Motiva since June 2008, Paula coordinates Business Finland's programs focused on Bio and Circular Economy, Smart Energy, and AI Business, aimed at fostering the creation of attractive products and business ecosystems within the Finnish circular economy and cleantech sectors. Prior to this role, Paula was a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland from August 1996 to June 2008, where research centered on waste reuse, environmental effects, and life cycle assessment methodologies. Earlier career positions included preparation of a master's thesis at Valio, a research assistant trainee at Technische Universität München, and a laboratory assistant at Viljavuuspalvelu Oy. Paula holds a Master's degree in Environmental Technology and Biotechnology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
