Taylor R. Gray, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of research and academia.

From 2019 to present, Taylor served as the Head of Research and Analytics at Motive.

Prior to that, starting in 2013, Taylor founded and served as the Director of Research at Tacit Elements Inc., where they specialized in assisting businesses, investors, governments, and community organizations in developing strategies for success and resilience in the dynamic landscape of business and society.

In 2011, Taylor held the roles of Associate Professor and Research Associate at the University of New Brunswick, where they focused on developing a research agenda in Business & Society, as well as teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics, Entrepreneurship/MBA, Corporate Social Accountability, and Public Policy.

In the same year, Taylor also worked as an Assistant Professor at St. Thomas University.

Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Oxford from 2006 to 2007, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Nature, Society, and Environmental Policy. Lastly, Taylor completed their doctoral studies at the University of Oxford from 2008 to 2011, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Economic Geography.
