Sam Tidswell-Norrish

Managing Director at Motive Partners

Sam Tidswell-Norrish is part of the founding team at Motive Partners and joined in 2015, where he is a Managing Director on the Investor Relations Team based out of the London office. Sam brings a broad range of financial services experience, from payments and investment banking to government initiatives and industry trade organizations. Sam served as EVP & CMO of Dun & Bradstreet International, a former Motive Partners portfolio firm, where he led the company’s international re-positioning and was focused on marketing, communications and business development.

Prior to joining Motive, Sam worked for Monitise Plc as Vice President and subsequently was Group Chief of Staff, where he focused on the firm’s operations and strategy. Prior to that, Sam spent nearly five years at Barclays Capital, in the Equity Finance Group. Sam currently sits on the Board of the World Wide Web Foundation, an organization established in 2009 by web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Lady Rosemary Leith Berners-Lee, to advance the open web as a public good and basic right.

Sam is also the Chair and Co-Founder of the not-for-profit next generation leadership platform, 20:40. Sam received a MSc. in International Business at Leeds University Business School and graduated with honors with a degree in Social Policy. Sam has also participated in Harvard Business School executive education courses in recent years.
