Agni Nano has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. They began their career as a Research Experience for Undergraduates Teaching Assistant at the National Science Foundation in 2011. They then worked as a Sales Associate at Beverly's for a brief period in the same year. In 2012, they joined the Van Andel Institute as a Graduate Research Associate, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Research Assistant at San Francisco State University from 2010 to 2012. In 2017, Agni Nano became a Medical Writer and Editor at MediScribe LLC, where they remained until 2018. They then transitioned to Mosaic Laboratories as a Technical Writer for a year before joining Motive Practicing Wisely Solutions in 2018. At Motive Practicing Wisely Solutions, they held various positions, including Knowledge Specialist from 2018 to 2020, Knowledge Developer from 2020 to the present, and Project Coordinator from 2021 to the present.

Agni Nano began their education in 2005 at Harvard University, where they participated in a Pre-college Program focused on Cell Biology and Astrobiology. In 2007, Nano enrolled at San Francisco State University and earned both a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physiology and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Creative Writing in 2012. Nano then pursued further education at the Van Andel Institute Graduate School from 2012 to 2017, completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics.
