Manish Kumar

Manish Kumar has extensive work experience in the engineering and operations field. Manish is currently serving as the VP of Engineering & Operations at Motive Practicing Wisely Solutions since 2023. Prior to this, Manish worked at Sequoia Consulting Group from 2015 to 2023, where they held various roles such as Principal & VP of Engineering and VP of Engineering. Manish was responsible for building and leading engineering teams, developing tools and technologies, and streamlining internal processes. Notably, they partnered with onsite/offsite consultants for engineering and operational tasks and established a development center in India.

Before joining Sequoia, Manish worked at Benu from 2012 to 2015 as the VP of Engineering. In this role, they managed global engineering and technical operation teams and launched a mobile app and expanded SaaS applications for healthcare benefits and elections. In the earlier stages of their career, Manish worked at SQL Star International Inc from 1998 to 2001 as a Senior Software Consultant and Senior Software Engineer. Manish provided software development and consulting services to companies in the real estate and employee benefits industries, keeping them updated on technologies.

Manish started their career in 1996 at Consulting Engineers Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they automated processes and developed software tools to streamline tasks and data exchange between US and India teams.
